That 's right! We are doing a double change: moving to a larger premises and also changing our name.We Are Moving! After 88 years of business in the Ballard area of Seattle, Ballard Brass & Aluminum Inc. will be moving a few miles south to a larger location just south of downtown Seattle. New equipment is being added daily, some even already in operation, as we transition the change. The move will be virtually seamless with top quality services and products prevailing at all times. At Ballard Brass and Aluminum we have been extremely fortunate to have developed a database of excellent customers and vendors who for many years have supported owners Steve & Mark Morel in their endeavor for quality products and customer service. Sales have doubled since the company was acquired in October of 2000, and, as is often the case, more room is needed to expand, invest in new equipment, and add even more to our product line. These are truly exciting times! Our new facility will allow us to have a designated area for our QA Department, the room to invest in and install new equipment, as well as offering a range of in-house services that most foundries can only dream about. Truly, we aim to offer the most comprehensive One Stop Foundry Center in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.Our customers can look forward to enjoying increased product line, second-to-none in-house services, as well as improved delivery times, and all-round customer service. Casting impregnation sealing and heat treat services have now become part of our in-house services, and are available as part of your order or as a post delivery service. We are also reverting back to the famous " Morel Industries" name that started way back in the late 1890s - some four generations of Morel foundry-men ago.
